The Machame Route is arguably the most beautiful path to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Known as the “Whiskey Route,” it offers a more adventurous challenge compared to Marangu. The trail takes you through magnificent rain forests, across the vast Shira Plateau, and past the stunning Southern Ice Fields.
