Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival at Kilimanjaro international Airport

As you walk out of Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal Kilimanjaro and safaris guide greets you with a big smile: 'Karibu Tanzania - welcome to Tanzania!' The guide takes you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and take in the African atmosphere. The next day your guide takes you on an exclusive, private safari that allows you to travel at your own pace. Enjoy the luxury of your own safari jeep and take the liberty to stop and watch the animals as long as you like!
Dinner and over night at Tulivu Kilimanjaro retreat.

Day 2 - 3

Tarangire National Park - Luxury Style!

In the majestic Tarangire National Park, the focus lies on grandeur - cross paths with the countless gigantic baobab trees, in search of vast herds of elephants. And these giants are not the only large game you find here, since the Tarangire River and Lake Burunge attract countless lions, zebras, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, pythons, and monkeys to their waters. For smaller species, the grandeur lies in the numbers, as Tarangire is also an absolute haven for birdwatchers!
Dinner and over night at Boundary Hill.

Day 4

Gibb's Farm Walk & Lunch

Gibb's Farm offers the old-age rhythm of an African farm and coffee plantation, right on the slopes of Ngorongoro Highlands. Walk around on this sanctuary of peace and tranquility, and watch vegetables being harvested, coffee roasted, cows milked, and pigs fed. The vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and herbs provide inspiration for the farm's chefs, who in their turn amaze visitors with a delicious lunch. A little piece of heaven!
Dinner and overnight at Marrera valley lodge and campsite.

Day 5

Ngorongoro crater - Luxury Style!

Today you descend into the wonderous caldera of the famous Ngorongoro Crater. This is THE day to start your game drive early when animals are plenty and tourists few! Feel the little hairs on your arms rise as you descend into the crater, awed by the sight of clouds hovering and the numerous animals in sight. Coyotes, hyenas, buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles, and many more animals can be found here and you are almost guaranteed to see them all.
Dinner and overnight at lion's paw camp.

Day 6

Serengeti National Park Luxury Style .

DRIVEN into the mind-blowing beautiful Serengeti National Park for the epitome of safari. See the infamous Big Five in all their glory, and, in certain months, wildebeests running by the thousands in the Great Migration. And even without that; this is big-cat-paradise with prides of lions on kopjes, cheetahs in the long, yellow grass, and leopards in trees. You arrive in time for an amazing afternoon game drive into the sunset.

Day 7

Hot Air Balloon Flight in Serengeti

A balloon safari in the iconic Serengeti National Park will make your Tanzania safari a memorable experience. You rise at sunrise and gently fly over the endless plains of the Serengeti. The hot air balloon floats at treetop height above the baobabs and acacias so that you can see the animals nearby. Watching the wildlife below from your balloon is a fascinating and peaceful experience that comes with breathtaking panoramic views.

Day 8

Flight to Zanzibar (Include in the price)

Today you fly to the spice island of Zanzibar. You will be picked up at the airport by your guide and taken to your hotel.
Over the next few days, you can discover white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters and vibrant coral reefs. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of Stone Town, visit spice plantations and enjoy the delicious local cuisine. The tropical paradise awaits you!

Day 9 - 11

Zanzibarf - Luxury Style!

From the beautiful yellows of the Tanzanian savannah, you fly to the most fabulous white beaches of... Zanzibar! Get pampered by a fantastic staff in a luxurious five-star all-inclusive resort on the coast, and spend your days swimming, surfing, or just chillin' in a hammock with a cocktail in hand. Expect your own piece of paradise with kilometers of palm-fringed beaches, wooden dhows on the horizon, and an ocean so blue you need sunglasses to even look at it…!

Day 12

Flight homeE from Zanzibar airport (ZNZ)

The last day! Depending on your flight time, you can relax on the beach or explore the island just a little bit more. A driver then takes you to Zanzibar International Airport in time for your flight home. Having second thoughts? It's also possible to extend your holiday to another paradise island, such as Mnemba, Pemba, or Mafia!

This is a private tour and hence there won’t be any other guests joining the safari except for those in your party. It will just be you, your guide and the cook. Our vehicles can take a maximum of 7 people and should your group be bigger than that, more than one vehicle will be used.

There is no set age limit, however, we discourage parents with children under the age of 8 to join such a safari due to the lengthy drives and the fact that nights are spent on unfenced campsites. If parents are nevertheless convinced that their child / children are unfazed by the long driving distances and the travel time that goes with it, children are welcome to join the safari. But please keep in mind that the responsibility for each child lies with you as a parent at all times.

Nights are spent on basic lodge inside the national parks or on the outskirts thereof.

Are there ablution facilities at the lodge?
Yes, communal ablution facilities can be found on all lodge. Most of them are very basic and hot water is few and far between.

We make use of reconstructed 4×4 safari vehicles (i.e. Toyota Landcruisers), that have been designed to conquer the ever demanding road conditions in East Africa. All vehicles have pop-up roofs that can be opened during game drives and a window seat is guaranteed for each guest.

The tour is run on a full-board basis and meals are included as indicated in the itinerary. Mineral water is also provided, whereas all other beverages (soft drinks & alcohol) are excluded and on your own account.
Breakfast can include eggs, sausages or bacon and toast and jam. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are also provided.

Luggage is restricted to one large bag / rucksack weighing no more than 15 kg. Furthermore, every traveller is allowed one piece of hand luggage.
Due to the limited space in the vehicle, we kindly ask guests to refrain from travelling with suitcases as storing them in the vehicle could prove a problem. Please also do not forget to check the baggage allowances of your respective airlines.

Yes, we suggest that you bring some spending money for drinks, snacks, souvenirs and tips.
so you can bring extra funds.

Tips are not included in the price and we recommend 15-20 USD per group per day for the guide and 10-15 USD per group per day for the cook.

Most nationalities can apply for a visa upon arrival in Tanzania but all travellers need to contact their respective embassies to check the latest visa regulations. Furthermore, it is the sole responsibility of each traveller to be in possession of the required documents.

Tetanus, Diphtheria, Polio, Hepatitis A & B vaccinations are not required, but nevertheless recommend by us.
